We have daily fitness classes and monthly activities like yoga, kayaking, hiking, camping, etc.  Anything to spice up your daily dog walks so that you can bond with your best furry friend and get a great workout.   Jack is our Cairn Terrier mascot who will keep you updated on all of the fun events that he has coming up and show you photos of the ones that we already had.  We plan on doing a lot of communication through this blog so please visit often and feel free to leave your comments.

Lake Hodges Hike –2011

Today we hiked Lake Hodges because it was too hot to hike Iron Mountain for us dogs.  I didn’t mind because we got to go swimming half way through the hike!  The water level sure was high! Us dogs missed the sandy beach that we got to enjoy last time but it was still nice to cool off and run through the water.  Us dogs got to have a play time both in and out of the water.  A couple of the new dogs became good friends and one even learned a new trick because  mommy was making us all

Blessing of the Animals

Today I was blessed at the Blessing of the Animals in Old Town.  The man in the long white robe threw water on my head and I tried to catch it.  Mommy said he was a priest and that it was a good thing that he was doing.  All I know is that there were a lot of dogs there and there were bunnies, birds and snakes too!  I guess they need to get blessed just like us dogs.

Book Review: Merle’s Door: Lessons from a Freethinking Dog

Mommy couldn’t put this book down.  She said that it was not only a wonderful story but very educational. Etiquette for hiking on the trails

It is a GREAT time of the year for hiking in Southern California!
