Lake Hodges Hike –2011

Today we hiked Lake Hodges because it was too hot to hike Iron Mountain for us dogs.  I didn’t mind because we got to go swimming half way through the hike!  The water level sure was high! Us dogs missed the sandy beach that we got to enjoy last time but it was still nice to cool off and run through the water.  Us dogs got to have a play time both in and out of the water.  A couple of the new dogs became good friends and one even learned a new trick because  mommy was making us all catch the treats when she threw them!  We had the smallest dogs ever on our hike today and they hiked the entire 5 miles–even Andiamo, the new member of our Leash Your Fitness family at only 14 weeks finished up strong!   Great fun was had by all and it was fun to meet some new friends!  We hope to see you next month when we will again try to conquer Iron Mountain, weather permitting!  Enjoy the pics……….
