Silver Lake

Our friend Stephanie came over to get us from Grant Lake and took us to the really cool lake next door.  It was called Silver Lake and it was surrounded by the mountains.  It was so pretty paddling around the entire lake.  It wasn’t very big…

We paddled to the back of the lake and there was grass in the water! 

Then we paddled to the other side of the lake and there was a little channel that we got to paddle through…

It was so cool, we felt like we were in a little rain forrest….

At one point, we had to paddle under a log….

We even saw a deer watching us (can you see it)…

When we got to the end, Stephanie said that there was a waterfall and lake up at the top that you can hike to.  We will have to do that next time!
