Leash Your fitness is all about being active with your pet. We have daily fitness classes and monthly activities like yoga, kayaking, hiking, camping, etc. Anything to spice up your daily dog walks so that you can bond with your best furry friend and get a great workout. Jack is our Cairn Terrier mascot who will keep you updated on all of the fun events that he has coming up and show you photos of the ones that we already had. Our Trail Dogs team recently did a Ragnar 24 hour trail race. When running multiple times throughout the day, you need to refuel, right? So we made some of our favorite snacks to do just that! Of course one of them were the yummy no bake chocolate/ coconut cookies and the other was our new favorite, these granola muffins! They are very healthy and very yummy! Read more →Today’s Motivation Monday is inspired by our weekend in Tahoe. Our Trail Dogs team did a 24 hour trail race called Ragnar. It is a relay race with 8 people. We had a 3 mile, 5.8 mile and 7.1 mile loop and each time you run, you run a different loop. We take turns running consistently to everyone runs all 3 laps. It was 129 miles, took us 29 hours and we DID IT! A few gals flew and we packed 5 gals in a loaded Suburban and headed to Tahoe! It was a super fun weekend
Read more →What better way to spend a summer weekend than in the water! This past weekend the Leash Your Fitness dogs did just that! It was a WET WEEKEND and we loved it! Saturday, we took 20 dogs out on kayaks. Yes! I said 20! It was such a fun group. We even had a first timer who did GREAT! Bella jumped in once but then she just enjoyed the ride! I watch people wait for the elevator when they could probably get their faster by taking the stairs.
