Leash Your fitness is all about being active with your pet. We have daily fitness classes and monthly activities like yoga, kayaking, hiking, camping, etc. Anything to spice up your daily dog walks so that you can bond with your best furry friend and get a great workout. Jack is our Cairn Terrier mascot who will keep you updated on all of the fun events that he has coming up and show you photos of the ones that we already had. Read more →Today was a great day! Mommy threw me and my brother Nutty a birthday party at Del Mar Dog Beach. I couldn’t believe how many people came out to celebrate with us! It was so fun! Peter even came from the So Cal Surf dogs and helped me and my friends surf. The water was cold but we didn’t care! I even had a birthday cake! Nutty and I tried to eat the whole thing ourselves but mommy made us share with the other dogs. It was yummy and even some dogs that weren’t part of our party came out
Read more →Marcy used to be a “problem child” before Leash Your Fitness– she’s a border collie/Labrador retriever mix and by the time she was 1, we knew we had to make a serious commitment to some obedience training. She is smart, but with an attention deficit problem, whining when she was bored, never wanting to sit still for more than 10 seconds, chewing on everything/everyone. I was growing bored with same old step aerobics, running, strength training, and wanted to spend more time with Marcy AND improve my fitness to tackle the America’s Finest Half marathon for the first time. Read more →This weekend mommy took me for my dock diving debut at the Pet Expo at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. I was so excited as anyone that knows me knows that I LOVE TO SWIM and I LOVE TO CHASE BALLS so put them together and I am in doggy heaven! Mommy had know idea what she was getting herself into because now I love dock diving and I must be pretty good at it cause I won a ribbon on my first time out! Read more →What is your favorite exercise? Mine is chasing the ball! You are probably thinking running, lunging, push ups, (well–I am not sure they are anybody’s favorite exercise) or walking or something along those lines. Mommy says that resting your body and mind is an exercise that is the toughest for MOST people. Have you ever tried meditating?
