Leash Your fitness is all about being active with your pet. We have daily fitness classes and monthly activities like yoga, kayaking, hiking, camping, etc. Anything to spice up your daily dog walks so that you can bond with your best furry friend and get a great workout. Jack is our Cairn Terrier mascot who will keep you updated on all of the fun events that he has coming up and show you photos of the ones that we already had. Time to work those core muscles! Bicycles are a great exercise to do every day! If you are out on a dog walk and want to put Fido in a sit, you can do this exercise on top of a table! Just see how many you can crank out in 1 minute! Read more →On October 10th and 11th a group of 8 Leash Your Fitness runners participated in the Vail Lake Ragnar Trail Relay – over 24 hours of running 3 trails each, totaling 116 miles! This race is a physical, mental, and emotional challenge. But our runners trained hard and conquered it! With a team name crediting our favorite training partners, the Trail Dogs ran an unforgettable race! The event started on Friday morning at 11:00am. During our dog walk, taking a break at work, while cooking dinner, etc. Well 2 minutes is all you need to get this lower body exercise in: Step 1: Set a timer for 1 minute. Do squats for that whole minute, counting how many you can do in that time.
