Jack Leash Your FitnessLeash Your fitness is all about being active with your pet. We have daily fitness classes and monthly activities like yoga, kayaking, hiking, camping, etc.  Anything to spice up your daily dog walks so that you can bond with your best furry friend and get a great workout.   Jack is our Cairn Terrier mascot who will keep you updated on all of the fun events that he has coming up and show you photos of the ones that we already had.  We plan on doing a lot of communication through this blog so please visit often and feel free to leave your comments.

Volcan Mountain was a great location to move our Leash Your Fitness March hike to when we had an unseasonably warm March Saturday!  It was a BEAUTIFUL day in Julian! Edward Payson Weston was born on March 15, 1839 He first received attention as a notable pedestrian in 1861, when he walked 478 miles (769 km) from Boston, Massachusetts to Washington, D.C. in 10 days and 10 hours, from February 22 to March 4. Sycamore Canyon 100k

Our runners have really come a long way!  On Saturday February 28th, two Leash Your Fitness run teams completed the inaugural Sycamore Canyon 100k in Poway AND came in 1st and 2nd place for women’s relay teams!  The 4-person teams were made up of Danielle Casteel, Lisa Peterson, Diane Cheryll and Stephanie Oba (1st place!); Naomi Hillery, Cathy Hardalo, Ana Chacon, and Nicole Kuczak – with pup Dash for 1 lap (2nd place!).  Jessica Morrell deserves a shout-out too for training all the way up to the event.  Unfortunately she was injured and could not race, but still made it out
