Leash Your fitness is all about being active with your pet. We have daily fitness classes and monthly activities like yoga, kayaking, hiking, camping, etc. Anything to spice up your daily dog walks so that you can bond with your best furry friend and get a great workout. Jack is our Cairn Terrier mascot who will keep you updated on all of the fun events that he has coming up and show you photos of the ones that we already had. Today was the PERFECT day to hike. It was cool, sunny AND our group was FABULOUS!! One person stood out among the crowd, Bobbi Prilaman was in an accident many years ago and now suffers from nerve damage to her leg. She wears a brace and has tried EVERYTHING to combat the pain. Read more →INGREDIENTS: 2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour** 2 eggs 1/2 cup canned pumpkin 2 tablespoons peanut butter 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon DIRECTIONS: 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). 2. Whisk together the flour, eggs, pumpkin, peanut butter, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl. Add water as needed to help make the dough workable, but the dough should be dry and stiff. Roll the dough into a 1/2-inch-thick roll. Cut into 1/2-inch pieces. 3. Read more →In celebration of Halloween this year, Leash Your Fitness put on a NEON class! We all came dressed from head to toe (even one of the dog’s toenails) in neon and ready to work out! There was no missing this group. We got an awesome workout, had fun, laughed and burned calories instead of consuming them! Who said working out isn’t fun?? After class, we walked over to Paw Pleasers for their annual Howloween Party. A few of us even won some really cool prizes! It was fun seeing all of the cool costumes that people come up with for their dogs.
