Hurricane Sandy Fundraising Dog Workout Class

Hurricane Sandy Fundraising Dog Workout Class

It was a drizzly morning but that did not stop 12 caring ladies from coming out and romping in the mud with their dogs to raise funds for the Hurricane Sandy Victims that are still suffering months after the storm hit!   While others were out holiday shopping, us gals were running, jumping, skipping and “staying” for a great cause!! It was the Leash Your Fitness Grand Finale workout!   The dogs got to practice their “A” game on the “A” frame, fly high over the agility jumps and had to STAY for a long period of time in order

Improved Upper Body Strength with My Two Golden Retrievers

“Prior to being in the “Leash Your Fitness” classes, I was trying to walk my dogs several days a week but was concerned that I was doing nothing to improve my upper body strength and balance. Although I still can’t stand on one leg for any length of time, it is improving. Now being able to take the classes twice a week, has really helped to improve my overall strength and stamina. Added benefits are doing the classes with my daughter, enjoying the company of my two Golden Retrievers and meeting many other fun participants. Thanks for teaching these unique

Mission Trails Hike 2012

Mission Trails Hike 2012

We had a strong hiking group on our Mission Trails Hike so although it was only our second hike of the year, mommy took them to the TOP of South Fortuna Mountain!! It was a perfect day to go hiking and we had so much fun!  Mission Trails is either up or down so it was a good workout for the gals and my dog pals! Good thing that they come to our Leash Your Fitness classes to stay in shape because the climb to the ridge from the little bridge is 558 vertical feet and .6 miles. The last
