Jack Leash Your FitnessLeash Your fitness is all about being active with your pet. We have daily fitness classes and monthly activities like yoga, kayaking, hiking, camping, etc.  Anything to spice up your daily dog walks so that you can bond with your best furry friend and get a great workout.   Jack is our Cairn Terrier mascot who will keep you updated on all of the fun events that he has coming up and show you photos of the ones that we already had.  We plan on doing a lot of communication through this blog so please visit often and feel free to leave your comments.

Wow!! Our 1st Leash Your Fitness kayak trip of the season on Mission Bay was a GOOD TIME!!  We had 15 dogs and people and nobody FELL in!! A bunch of the dogs JUMPED in but nobody got hurt and EVERYONE had a great time!! One of the dogs, Cooper, a 110 lb lab had a rough start but his mommy and my daddy kept him in the kayak the entire time!! Camping with your dog can be so much fun.  The Leash Your Fitness 5th annual camping trip proved that!  We had 25 people and 24 dogs in Idyllwild, CA for a weekend full of hiking, playing, eating and even some shopping! The weekend began on Friday, slowly everyone arrived at camp. Mommy had a little hike planned for anyone that arrived early and was ready to go!! Did you know that there are balance exercises for dogs?  Do you know WHY they are important?  Dogs put 60 – 80% of their weight on their front legs which puts a lot of stress on their elbows and shoulders.
