Leash Your fitness is all about being active with your pet. We have daily fitness classes and monthly activities like yoga, kayaking, hiking, camping, etc. Anything to spice up your daily dog walks so that you can bond with your best furry friend and get a great workout. Jack is our Cairn Terrier mascot who will keep you updated on all of the fun events that he has coming up and show you photos of the ones that we already had. It is MONDAY so time for a new exercise for you to work on this week! Today’s exercise is the PLANK! It is an awesome shoulder AND core exercise. A few things to remember: Make sure your arms are perpendicular to the floor, not out too far in front of your body Make sure you BREATH! Counting sometimes helps. Let it burn! Read more →One of the most well attended class is our Dog Yoga class. It attracts people of all fitness levels and even people that don’t normally do yoga. Here at Leash Your Fitness, we use the class as a way to fund raise for Foster and Shelter Groups in San Diego. It has brought in thousands of dollars to help dogs in need while the people have a great time and get to bond with their dog.
