Leash Your fitness is all about being active with your pet. We have daily fitness classes and monthly activities like yoga, kayaking, hiking, camping, etc. Anything to spice up your daily dog walks so that you can bond with your best furry friend and get a great workout. Jack is our Cairn Terrier mascot who will keep you updated on all of the fun events that he has coming up and show you photos of the ones that we already had. After all of the rain and clouds, the sky cleared and we had a beautiful view of the big full moon. It was really cool. Got to meet some new friends and run through puddles! My favorite! The pups got to wear glow collars so that their parents could see them and the parents got to eat homemade pumpkin muffins at the top of the hike. Read more →We had a really fun event today in North Park. Over 20 women showed up to raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness. Leash Your Fitness put on a 2 1/2 hour event–complete with Bootcamp, Doga Yoga, Doggy and people massages and mini-facials. We also gave out a lot of cool raffle prizes! Everyone had a really good time and we raised over $400. for Kelley Dukat, one of our participants and LYF family members. She is walking in the Susan G. Exercising in the rain can be fun and feel good but there are some things you may want to do to make your session safe and enjoyable: 1. Invest in some wicking socks. Read more →Today was the first hike of the Leash Your Fitness fall hike series and it was a darn good thing that we were hiking near the water because it sure was hot outside!! We ended up cutting the hike short because us dogs were having too much fun playing in the water and it was near 100 degrees! The water was so deep that even my friend Murphy was able to swim!!
