We have daily fitness classes and monthly activities like yoga, kayaking, hiking, camping, etc.  Anything to spice up your daily dog walks so that you can bond with your best furry friend and get a great workout.   Jack is our Cairn Terrier mascot who will keep you updated on all of the fun events that he has coming up and show you photos of the ones that we already had.  We plan on doing a lot of communication through this blog so please visit often and feel free to leave your comments.

Dogs usually do not like fireworks.  They have highly sensitive hearing and can detect sounds high above human capabilities. Their ears are mobile due to 18 muscles that turn, lift, and tilt them to pinpoint where the sound is coming from. Because of their acute sense of hearing, dogs can hear sounds from four times the distance a human can. Kayaking with the dogs

Today Leash Your Fitness took 19 dogs kayaking on Mission Bay.  It was an adventure! Weight loss challenge finale: the results are in!

Today was our Lose Pounds with Your Hounds final weigh in.  The gals did so well.  The feedback was that they learned a lot from the daily blog posts to keep them moving in a healthy and positive direction now that the competition has ended.  We calculated the percentage lost from the participants and their dogs and also their waist and hip measurements.
