Kayaking with the dogs

Today Leash Your Fitness took 19 dogs kayaking on Mission Bay.  It was an adventure! It was a beautiful day and the water was warm so some of us dogs decided to jump in!  Everyone had a great time and we learned that if a couple goes kayaking –that they should get a tandem because their dog wants to be with both of them and therefore will whine and jump in the water and sometimes that may cause an issue!  And then there was Paxton that decided to jump from the front of the kayak to the back and not sit still the entire time–therefore, Paxton was trucked back from Fiesta Island.  No more kayaking for him.  You never know until you try!!   That is why mommy always has a back up plan!  Once we got to Fiesta Island-us dogs had a blast running around, swimming and digging in the sand.  The two dogs named Maya became BFF’s right away!  It was so fun! Then we got to rest while everyone went to dinner after the kayak adventure!
