Helen Woodward sure does put on a fun Surf Dog event every year.  This year, the weather was HOT, the crowd was loving the action and the vendors were giving away TREATS!  It was the perfect mix! he weekend started on Friday when we did an interview at KUSI for the event.  Its always fun to be on the news even though they don’t give me any treats! WIPN conference

This past weekend I got to take part in the Women In The Pet Industry‘s (WIPN) yearly conference.  It was a really fun weekend of learning, connecting and growing! Jack and I met so many inspiring women with various pet businesses! The pet business is ON FIRE and we are so happy to be a part of it!  We are looking forward to working with many of the women that we met at the conference. Dog swim PAW-ty!

Dog swim PAW-ty!

Wow!! Today was so much fun!! Everyone knows that I LOVE to swim and mommy and I LOVE to encourage other pups to swim because it is so good for you!! Every year Leash Your Fitness hosts a FREE swim paw-ty at Markim Pet Resort after our Sunday bootcamp class so everyone can come and swim with me!  Mommy gets in the pool and helps the dogs that are a bit afraid. She helps them feel comfortable in the water by holding on to them. She even helped BIG dogs like German Shepards and Newfoundlands!  It was fun watching them

Have you ever done a 5k with your dog?  If you haven’t, maybe you should try it because they are a lot of fun! Whether you run it or walk it, it is so awesome to see so many dogs getting along and cruising with their fur parent! Wow!! It sure has been an AMAZING journey!  Five years ago, mommy started a business that nobody else was doing!
