Today we hiked Lake Hodges because it was too hot to hike Iron Mountain for us dogs. I didn’t mind because we got to go swimming half way through the hike! The water level sure was high! Us dogs missed the sandy beach that we got to enjoy last time but it was still nice to cool off and run through the water. Us dogs got to have a play time both in and out of the water. Today we went on a 6 mile hike to a waterfall. Mommy said that the time is going to change tonight and it will get darker earlier so we are taking advantage of the last day of late daylight and doing a sunset hike. It was really pretty and we had a fun group of people. Mommy gave them all a treat bag with treats for them and their pups for when we got to the waterfall. Read more →After all of the rain and clouds, the sky cleared and we had a beautiful view of the big full moon. It was really cool. Got to meet some new friends and run through puddles! My favorite! The pups got to wear glow collars so that their parents could see them and the parents got to eat homemade pumpkin muffins at the top of the hike. Everyone was happy and everyone got to meet some new friends! We hope to see you on our next hike………
Read more →Today was the first hike of the Leash Your Fitness fall hike series and it was a darn good thing that we were hiking near the water because it sure was hot outside!! We ended up cutting the hike short because us dogs were having too much fun playing in the water and it was near 100 degrees! The water was so deep that even my friend Murphy was able to swim!! Read more →We had a GREAT time this weekend camping with our Leash Your Fitness family. At one point we had 21 people and 19 dogs at camp. All of us dogs had fun running around and getting really dirty. We did 4 hikes, played games, and ate well –including lots of treats for us dogs and smores by the fire for our people. We even had a dog trivia game and best tricks contest led by Arden Moore! Mommy even gave out prizes! Fun was had by all and everyone went home tired and refreshed from the mountain air!! We can’t
