First Hike of the Season: Penasquitos Canyon Hike

Today mommy & I led 14 people & their pups on the 6 mile round trip hike to the waterfall in Penasquitos Canyon. This is one of my favorite hikes because I get to SWIM!! A couple of the other dogs had to persuaded but then they joined me in the water. We lucked out because it just rained yesterday so the water was deep! 4th Annual LYF Camping With the Dogs

This weekend was so much fun!! The weather was PERFECT, the lake was PERFECT, the flowers were PERFECT and my dog friends were PERFECT to play with and mommy’s workout friends were PERFECT too!! The Leash Your Fitness 4th annual camping trip with the dogs in the Laguna Mountains went without any issues. The dogs all got along great except for a few minor incidences when somebody got crabby but we all have those moments! Iron Mountain Hike 2012

Another beautiful and fun hike this weekend on Iron Mountain. What a fun group! We did 6 miles in record breaking time! Us dogs had such a grand time running around and I even showed my friends where the hidden spring was. It even had a little water in it but not too much mud–bummer! Elle Lane Hike

This past weekend we had 19 people and 18 dogs on our 4 mile Elle Lane hike. Us dogs got to swim, get dirty, romp around and eat lots of treats! The people got to tough it out on the rocky climb then got treated with homemade cookies and fruit while they enjoyed the amazing view from the top. Last weekend, we had the BEST time hiking along the Santa Margarita River in Fallbrook. The weather was perfect, the hiking group was a fun group and the dogs were really cool!!
