Wow!! Our 1st Leash Your Fitness kayak trip of the season on Mission Bay was a GOOD TIME!! We had 15 dogs and people and nobody FELL in!! A bunch of the dogs JUMPED in but nobody got hurt and EVERYONE had a great time!! One of the dogs, Cooper, a 110 lb lab had a rough start but his mommy and my daddy kept him in the kayak the entire time!! What a beautiful day we had for another successful Leash Your Fitness kayak event. We had 19 dogs and 26 people out on Mission Bay. We kayaked over to Fiesta Island where we got to romp around and play. A few mommies forgot the all important tennis ball so those silly dogs thought that I would share my dock diving toy–I don’t think so!!! We appreciate the support that the San Diego dog community has showed us and we LOVE the family of dog lovers that we are a part of now. Read more →Who would think that Kayaking could be such an adventure. Our Kayak with your Dog day began with 22 people and dogs on a beautiful Saturday afternoon in Mission Bay. While mommy was giving her “talk” to most of the people about how to kayak and about the Seals being in the bay–Lois was getting dumped by one of them! Read more →We set a WORLD RECORD for the most dogs on a surf board! 17 total dogs on one board along with Professional Surfer, Scott Chandler. (he even built a special board for us!) It was so much fun! Teamwork was needed by all of us dogs and we accomplished that for sure! Media was everywhere! Cameras were rolling from Good Morning America, MSN, USA Today, CNN, The Travel Channel, and all of the local news stations were there as well as tons of dog photographers and spectators.
