The 20 participants in our Lose Pounds With Your Hounds weight loss contest are going strong! We have some VERY competitive participants in the contest and the gals are having a lot of fun! The participants get daily blog posts to keep them on track, educate and motivate them. We want to make sure that they are losing weight in a safe and effective way so that they keep it off! This past Saturday Leash Your Fitness held our Doggy Drills class. We had 19 dogs participate in this fun and informative class. Doggy Drills is unlike any obedience class that you have ever attended: we play games, have races, do drills, exercise and learn new ways to work with our dogs to get them to listen and focus. You can even win prizes! The dogs worked on: sit, down, stay, leave it, not pulling and heel. Read more →We had a game filled class today–everything from Indian runs, musical hula hoops, hot potato with a weighted ball and running with water filled glasses. Everyone left with treats, toys and a little dirt on them as it was really wet and muddy in the fields but that didn’t stop us from having a doggone good time! Who says exercising isn’t fun? Mommy comes up with some crazy stuff for the gals to do. The dogs had to show off how well they learned their commands this year with heel, puppy push ups and catching the treats. Read more →Today we had a crazy class! It was POURING rain! Mommy wasn’t sure if anyone would show up but we had 9 brave ladies come out to play and get REALLY wet! Mommy didn’t cancel class in honor of the Breast Cancer 3 day. She figured if those ladies could walk 20 miles in the rain–then we could work out in it! We did and boy was I muddy and wet! Read more →Today we had a little “pawty” for Jenn after her class in North Park. Thanks to everyone who came out. We had some yummy people and dog treats after class. Kelly and Scooter were there to meet everyone since they are going to be teaching when Jenn leaves. Kelly had her teaching debut today and Jenn helped teach her the ropes! We are really going to miss Jenn and Jake as they are moving away from beautiful San Diego! Mommy gave her a going away picture that was really cute! Jenn really liked it!
