The LYF Year in Review 2010-- too much fun!

This certainly has been a fun filled 2nd year for Leash Your Fitness.  Mommy has so much fun looking back at all of the pictures and fun times that we have had with our 2 legged and 4 legged friends! We have had TV crews, reporters, and even Animal Planet filming our classes for the news, websites, articles and blogs. It was like we were movie stars! Our year began with a Grand Opening at the Carmel Valley Rec Center, a 2 hour event that was filled with games, food , prizes and of course fitness!  We now have morning

Holiday Pet Parade

Mommy made me go to the Holiday Pet Parade with her today at the Gaslamp.  I was so happy that it was really hot so she didn’t make me wear my Santa suit–just a Christmas bandanna, I can deal with that! She promised me that they would have treats there for me too so that was cool.  Most of the dogs didn’t get off as easy as me, check out the pics………. Halloween 2010–treats for everyone!

We had so much fun at all of the Halloween festivities this year!  Mommy dressed me up like a pumpkin and I tolerated it because I got lots of treats! My friends were all dressed up really funny.  I think they had it way worse than I did!  We went to a bunch of different events and mommy even got to judge a couple of contests.  We have a lot of pictures so have fun looking at them!!

AF Walk

Well, us dogs showed the 2 leggers how to raise money! Out of the top 3 fund raisers in all of San Diego–2 of them were DOGS–and they were both on our Leash Your Fitness with Kima team.  Kima raised $1940. and Richochet raised $2855.00!  Since she raised over $2500.–she got a match from a company so that brought it up to $5430 Those girls ROCK!!  Our total team raised….are you ready……$10,515!!  Mommy was so proud of her team–the girls did such a great job!  For being the top fund raiser–Richochet’s mom won a massage from Network for Health and

LJ Pet Parade

LJ Pet Parade

Guess what we got to do today? Lead the La Jolla Pet Parade! Me, Mommy and Denise and Ginger represented Leash Your Fitness and we got to be in front with the So Cal Surf Dogs! It was awesome! We didn’t know where we were going and ended up going a little longer than people expected but mommy said they got to burn more calories that way! I made out and got lots of treats and a new leash from Love Puppy. It is hands free so mommy can workout and do push ups while I am attached to her.
