Easter Egg Hunt

Easter Egg Hunt

Today was so much fun! For the warm up at our class we had an Easter Egg Hunt and mommy smeared peanut butter over the eggs so that we could find them!  They had yummy treats inside for us.  Some of the eggs had people treats too since we love our people!  Mommy likes to mix things up and keep it fun for everyone! PLUS, the winners (which there was a tie!) each got a gift certificate for a 3 day 2 night stay in a resort of their choice!  The winners were really happy and surprised!!  You never know

Lake Ramona Hike

We had another beautiful day on our hike.  We had 10 2 -legged and 7 4-legged friends with us today.  We hiked 2 1/2 miles up to the lake and then WE GOT TO GO SWIMMING!  It was so fun!!  We all got really dirty  on the 2 1/2 miles back because we were all wet!!  We were back in over 2 hours –just in time for brunch and I think everyone was really hungry! Including us dogs! (if you want to see one  of the photos better–just click on it!)

2nd Hike In Series/ Black Mountain

Black Mountain–We began at 8 a.m. & good thing we started early–  It got a little toasty & us dogs don’t like it when it gets HOT! But it was a BEAUTIFUL day! We could see downtown, the ocean and the snow on Mt Jacinto–sure do wish we were playing in the snow!! Us dogs were very tired but mommy said we were burning a lot of calories. The hike was 2 miles up and 2 miles down a fire road.  We had 10 people and 6 dogs.  It was  so fun–especially swimming in the BIG muddy swimming puddle!

Penasquitos Hike #1

Three of my friends and a bunch of mommy’s friends came with us on our first hike.  We even borrowed the neighbors dog because they couldn’t go! We hiked 3 miles to a waterfall where we got to go swimming and have treats.  On our way back it got kind of hot so mommy took us the shady way back and we got to cool off in the stream. It was a pretty easy hike. Each month the hikes are going to get harder so make sure you come on the next one.  We are going to go on February
