Thanks so much for joining us on Jacks Journey USA. I am a 10 year old Cairn Terrier that loves to be outdoors doing fun stuff! Mommy and I are having an amazing time on our 10 week RV journey around the country promoting fitness with your dog!
We are happy that our drive through Kansas is over. The drive from the Subway parking lot was only 1½ hours. We had moved the RV in the middle of the night to get closer to the building in fear Spirit was going to blow down over the hillside in the wind!
We are now in our favorite state of Colorado and our 24 state on our journey!
We arrived at Isabelle’s house early. It was nice to finally meet her! Mommy had been chatting with her via Facebook and email for almost a year now. Isabelle started a program called Paws 4 Fitness in Aurora, Colorado and we were here to team teach a class with her.

Staying with Isabelle and her husband, Mike was awesome. They have 2 dogs, Voodoo and Guiness and a kitty. I got in trouble for chasing the kitty and freaking her out so after a day, I behaved myself and left the kitty alone. Voodoo was pretty funny, he thought that the Kurgo collapsible bowl was a hat!

We now have over 8200 miles on Spirit so Isabelle took us to get an oil change. Have to keep Spirit healthy so we get home safely! She also let us do our laundry, fed mommy all kinds of yummy meals and let mommy take a shower at her house. We slept in the RV under the beautiful Colorado skies next to her driveway!

Guess what else she did? She took us to our first marijuana store! It is legal in Colorado so mommy wanted to check it out. Don’t worry we didn’t buy anything but it was cool! They had drinks, food, and all kinds of ways to use it although I didn’t see any dog treats!

They also had a mall that you could drive through! It was so cool, like a little mall city complete with a movie theatre and food court!

Mommy was excited to see her friend Tamra. She went to x-ray school with her over 20 years ago and hasn’t seen her since. She lives close by so they met for hours at Starbucks. I was bored to death!

Man! It was HOT there! We went back to Isabelle’s and had lunch and Isabelle decided that we should go to Aurora Reservoir and take the kayak and Stand Up Paddle Board out. They had weird rules there. People were allowed to swim and have a boat ( no gas motors) and dogs were allowed on the boats and stuff but not IN the water. Do people think that we are dirty or something? Don’t they know that ducks are dirtier than dogs? It was a cool lake and the back part was totally empty except for us!

Mommy had the most fun, she jumped into the water from a tree!

Sunday came and it was time to get to work! The best part about class was that I got to see my friend, Bosco. He was my first friend in San Diego and also one of the very first dogs in our Leash Your Fitness classes. He used to come to the practice classes before we even started the business!

He moved to Colorado last year with his parents and now he has a little brother!

The class was super fun! There were 2 pugs there that had endless energy. It was pretty funny. They kept playing and didn’t even get tired when they went over the jumps. They had cool mommies for bringing them to class. A lot of people think that pugs are coach potatoes. Just like other dogs, they get used to whatever activity that you introduce them too! You just have to be careful because they have a hard time breathing sometimes.

We want to THANK everyone who came to class. You can look at all of the cool photos HERE. It was a super fun group and had some very beautiful dogs attend!

After class we went to Starbucks to visit and then we were off to Boulder. We didn’t have any idea where we were going to camp but wait until you see where we ended up!! We LOVE Colorado!
