Recently I was contacted by Aurorae to see if I was interested in trying some of their products. I had never heard of this company and once I looked at their website, I was super excited!
Even though Leash Your Fitness is not a yoga company, we do teach Dog Yoga and we do use just about everything that Aurorae sells.
What I loved most about the company was the founder’s story. He was the same age as I am now, 48, when his world got flipped upside down with a diagnosis of cancer. He decided to change his lifestyle and he started taking a yoga class. He was the only man in the class. From that class and his lifestyle change, he wanted to do more and that is how Aurorae was born. Aurorae was named after the Aurora Borealis because of all of the colors of his beautiful yoga mats. AuroRAE is the plural form of Aurora and Rae was the name of his late mother so it was a done deal. I can relate to that too!

One of the items that arrived was a GIANT microfiber towel. Jack and I both love it. It is a beautiful color and extremely soft. Anyone that follows us on social media knows that Jack LOVES to swim so we got a lot of use out of the towel this summer. It washes really nice and dries really fast! It is easily our favorite towel and we have a lot of beach towels!
Another favorite was the foot spray. Who would think that a yoga company would carry foot spray but this spray is perfect for my trail running and fitness shoes. It is made with essential oils so it is very safe with no chemicals added. You can spray it right on your feet if you want! I even took it to work and sprayed my work shoes that I keep in my locker and it made them smell so much better! I didn’t know how much I really needed this spray and how much I would use it!
Ok, so I was feeling a little guilty that I was keeping all of these treasures for myself so I decided to do a raffle on a few of the items. Our dog yoga friend, Lori, won the tank top. Lori loves long tanks so she was thrilled. She loves the quality of the tank and how soft it is. It fits perfect!
So, now we are down to the crown gem! We still have one more product to raffle off. We saved the best for last! One lucky person is going to win the sling yoga backpack! I have to admit that I was tempted to keep this bag for myself but I didn’t want to be selfish. It is a perfect bag! It has compartments for everything INCLUDING your yoga mat! You can carry your yoga blocks, cell phone, towel and even your laptop in this bag! It is sound quality and a very neutral color.
