This past weekend I got to take part in the Women In The Pet Industry‘s (WIPN) yearly conference.  It was a really fun weekend of learning, connecting and growing!

Jack and I met so many inspiring women with various pet businesses! The pet business is ON FIRE and we are so happy to be a part of it!  We are looking forward to working with many of the women that we met at the conference.

We brought home new products to try and are discussing many affiliate opportunities that we are excited about!

It was awesome meeting new friends and connecting with a few old ones! Rachel Sheppard is one of the ladies that we met. She is going to be helping us out with our blog and social media. She has a blog called, My kid has Paws and she is excited to help us out! She got to room with Jack and I and we even got her to come out on a run with us while at the conference!

While at the conference, I was honored to be picked to speak on a very important topic for EVERYONE but especially for entrepreneurs.  The topic was “Taking care of YOU while running a business“.  I was thankful for those that attended and granted them a FREE month of our Online FB Fitness Challenge for participating in my interactive discussion.

My goal is to help them get in the habit of putting themselves FIRST!  I also gave one lucky winner a copy of Alissa Finermans’ book, “Living in Your Top 1%”. I feel confident that Cindy Clemens of Your Marketing University is going to get a lot out of this book AND make some MAJOR changes in her life during our month together!

WIPN is a really cool organization to be a part of, not only is it all women but it is a great way to get new business ideas from a variety of different thought processes BUT it is also a great network to be part of.

As business owners, we certainly TRY to do everything but we don’t really know HOW to do everything so having a network of ladies to help you out is invaluable.  We learned copywriting tricks, how to get more traffice on your blog, got financial advice, and even learned a thing or two about google analytics!
