The last 5k of the year was PERFECT! It was a beautiful 80 degree day and SANTA WAS THERE! I think we surprised him when 21 dogs and 21 ladies came to sit on his lap! There was also a VERY LARGE mistletoe so you know our mommy’s had to stand under it and give us kisses! YUK!
Our Leash Your Fitness runners and walkers had a really fun time and they got lots of goodies at the end and it was all to benefit a great cause, The Arthritis Foundation. Mommy and I hung back at the Pet Patrol Booth and gave out Honest Kitchen samples to all of the good puppies that did the 5k! It was fun seeing all of the Holiday Costumes and YES! I was wearing the Grumpy Santa Suit!
The best part of the day is when mommy got to give our Leash Your Fitness donation that all of the gals gave to mommy in honor of my Grandma who had Rheumatoid Arthritis. Together, they donated $1300.!! It was a BIG check! The Leash Your Fitness girls ROCK & we love them very much!
We hope that you join us on our next 5k in the New Year! If you don’t think you can run that far, then maybe you should join our Saturday run group. We have watched a lot of girls and their pups improve their runs! See you soon!
