As pet parents, we’ve all heard about adopting a pet but what about fostering a shelter dog or cat?
The holidays are a time to celebrate family and, while we can’t adopt every pet, we believe that all our furry friends deserve the same. If you can open your heart and home temporarily, fostering a lonely shelter pet will be a memorable experience that changes your life – and most importantly saves his.
Our friends at Furry Foster are making it easy and fun to foster a dog or cat. You can help pets from over 20 local rescue organizations which all provide FREE food and veterinary care while you foster. Help a pet like Jaimie who found a furry foster home just in time for Thanksgiving last year!

Leash Your Fitness is doing our part. We are having a FUND RAISING class for Furry Foster on Sunday, December 15th from 9 – 10 a.m. It will be a combination Dog Yoga / Bootcamp class so there will be something for everyone. 100% of the proceeds will go to Furry Foster so please bring your cash or check (made out to Furry Foster) with you to class. Suggested donation is $20. (tax deductible) We also would LOVE to have something for the fosters to open on Christmas morning so if you can bring a NEW gift (collar, leash, toy, bowl, etc.) to donate as well, they would REALLY appreciate it. Our dogs have so much, time to give to the pups that need a new home. You can sign up for FREE here! Oh yea and don’t forget to bring your pups holiday attire for our Holiday Photo after class!
