Wow!! Our 1st Leash Your Fitness kayak trip of the season on Mission Bay was a GOOD TIME!! We had 15 dogs and people and nobody FELL in!! A bunch of the dogs JUMPED in but nobody got hurt and EVERYONE had a great time!! One of the dogs, Cooper, a 110 lb lab had a rough start but his mommy and my daddy kept him in the kayak the entire time!! Good thing because we don’t know how we would have got that big boy back in!! Annacey like chasing the birds so her mommy was doing 80 lb bicep curls getting Annacey back in! Good thing Jill is doing mommy’s Fitness Challenge and is strong now!! Colt wasn’t too sure of the whole kayak thing so he played it safe and STOOD on his mommy’s lap the whole time. Tammy did a good job paddling around a Weimaraner!!
It was a beautiful day on the bay and us dogs had a BLAST playing in the water and Fiesta Island! Our friend Dale Porter of Killer Image had his drone out taking our photos. Annacey got lots of exercise chasing it! Dale got some cool aerial shots of the kayaks. After all of the activities, we went to dinner and celebrated Daddy’s birthday with a cake. Cooper sure did want a little taste but he was a good boy and only looked!
