As some of you who follow us on Facebook know, I have been dealing with a paw injury. The x-rays say that it is arthritis but Terri Steuben, the Animal Communicator that I talked about in my last blog said that I “said” that I jammed it and it is just soft tissue but either way, I think all of the stuff mommy is doing to help it is working!

Our friend the chiropractor, Ken Gilden, has been adjusting my back and I think that is helping the most. I run around like a puppy after he gets his hands on me!

But then I end up with a sore paw and mommy has to soak it in ice water for it to feel better! I am happy to do it because it really does make it feel better plus she give me TruDog TREATS! (enter Leash20 at checkout for 20% off!)

Besides all of the supplements that she is giving me, we are also trying the cold laser therapy. I am not sure what is working but I am not limping as much so something is! The gals at Scripps Ranch Veterinary Hospital are very nice to me. They give me yummy treats too! Mommy said I better start trail running with her again soon or I am going to get a fat belly from all of the treats I am getting!

Besides getting my paw worked on, we have been busy raising money! The Leash Your Fitness team had the 3rd largest fundraising team for Morris Cancer Foundation walk, we raised $2270. It was a bummer that it rained again this year but our team is TUFF! They came out and supported this very important cause. We have lost a lot of dogs to cancer so we were happy that we could help! Plus, it is kind of fun to run around in the rain!

The following weekend, we had a team for the Puppy Love 5k for Helen Woodward Animal Center. Many of our Leash Your Fitness dogs came from there and they do lots of great things for the animals so we like to support them as much as we can!

We were really proud of our team! We were the largest fundraiser in the whole place, we raised over $1200! Us dogs SCORED as we got to pick from a big basket of toys and treats! It was really fun!

Did you know that Leash Your Fitness has raised over $28,000. in the 7 years that we have been in business for organizations that need our help. We THANK everyone that helps us to do that because mommy and I could never do it on our own and it is very important to give back!!
After the long morning at the event, mommy took me to a new store and got me a BIG TREAT for being such a good boy all morning. The nice ladies at Wholesome Choice Pet Market said that they will give our Leash Your Fitness pups 10% off because they really like what we do! So make sure you stop by and tell them you are one of us!!

If I wasn’t soaking my paw, eating treats, or raising money, I was out hiking! No injury is going to stop me! We took our group to check out the Eagle Rock. It was a really fun morning! Please check out our photos because they are really cool! We even had a herd of cows try to join us!

I was trying to be a good boy and not overdo it because of my paw so I think Toby got the prize for having the most fun that day. He sure did get muddy but he was so happy! Like the saying goes, “A dirty dog is a happy dog!”.

After the hike, we got to go swimming! I was so happy! It is the best ever for my paw PLUS, it is my most favorite thing to do in the whole wide world! Mommy taught me how to “dry off” on the towel after I am done so I don’t get all dirty again!

Mommy took me on another little hike last weekend at sunset and we got to see a bunch of really cool things! We saw the hot air balloons taking off near the beach, we saw a big black dog that looked like a bear and we saw this guy taking off into the sunset!

I was thinking that maybe we should try this sport since it may be easier on my paw if we started flying! Mommy said she didn’t think that would be a good idea since we still had to hike to the part where we jumped off the cliff!

As you can see, I like to go have fun! I get so upset when mommy and daddy leave me home alone. Last week I chewed out daddy’s A$% for leaving me! I hope he got the message loud and clear!

Thanks so much for joining me, even if it is “virtually” on my adventures. We hope that you are following us on Instagram and Facebook because mommy posts a lot of really cool photos so she hopes that somebody is seeing them!
Have a great day and don’t forget that THIS SUNDAY is our 7th annual Easter Egg Hunt as the warm up for our Easter Class. Mommy is filling 134 Easter Eggs with dog treats so we hope that you can come! Don’t forget to wear your bright colored Easter clothes!
We hope to see you and your pup because us dogs have a lot of FUN in class!
