Hippy Halloween

Every year the Leash Your Fitness gals go all out for Halloween.  Mommy  has a theme class and it is so fun to watch the creativity come out!  Last year our theme was Football and we even played a football game in class!  We have official judges come for the after class costume contest and we give prizes and get to eat treats!

Halloween is such a fun holiday.  It is not just for kids, adults get to act like a kid and get away with it!  It is fun to watch our mom’s get silly and just have fun! I am not sure  us dogs love it but we will tolerate anything for a treat!

This year our theme was Hippy.  The gals did not disappoint!   We had a super fun group!

Debbie and Tucker won for best dog Hippy duo.  They scored a session with Nedra from Reiki
For All Creatures.  Tucker even brought his homemade guitar out to play us a few tunes!

Carol and Echo won for best overall costume.  Carol goes all out every year and this year she was the pregnant hippy in the little yellow bus smoking some ganja! Echo looked adorable with her flower wreath on her head!  They won a gift certificate for Paw Pleasers.  We are hoping that they buy a dog cake and share it with all of us!

So many cool costumes.  Our  runners up were super cute too and they won Leash Your Fitness gift bags with hats, shirts, dog toys, Kurgo travel bowls and other fun stuff! Milo even dressed as a pot head and Sunny as the Yellow Submarine!

No hippy class would be complete without hula hoops!

and yummy homemade pumpkin cookies for the dogs! ( they were so good our mommy’s ate them too!)
