Warm water makes us happy

The water is sooooo warm in San Diego!!  We have been loving it!  It has been fun getting out a few times a week to enjoy ourselves on the SUP and swimming and swimming and swimming!  We try to get out early while the water is nice and calm….

We paddle all over.  In Pt Loma, and Coronado…

We even paddled over to the convention center when Comicon was going on from Coronado!  It was so crazy, there were people everywhere!  We walked up to see all of the activities and crazy people in costumes!  It was funny, we parked our SUP behind the convention center next to all of the big, fancy party boats….

We even paddled past the Dole Pineapple boat!

Mommy tried to get my a job at Sea World in their water show. She said it is about time that I “earn my keep” whatever that means!

Our friends like to go out with us sometimes.   I like to show off around my girlfriends…

Some of my friends are too big to SUP with us but we still love them and it is fun to hang out on Fiesta Island with them ….

When I am not SUPing or swimming, I like to play with my favorite toy.  It is so fun to run and dig on at the beach. I LOVE getting VERY sandy…….

It is hard work  but I have a lot of fun with mommy.   We love spending time together.  I am almost 14 now so everyday is special but I do have to take more naps these days….

Mommy was running on Sunday’s and I was not happy about it because it was taking time away from me.  I let her know it too! 

She is training for a 50k.  She got up to running 19 miles but her body didn’t think it was a good idea.  She has something called Hashimotos,  it is an auto immune issue and it flares up when she stresses out her body.   She is not sure if she will be able to continue to train and the race is one month away! 

I didn’t like it when she ran without me but daddy would take me to meet her when she was done with her run and we would do the cool down together.  That part made me happy….

Mommy and I have a lot of fun together and every day is a gift.  We hope that you are out having fun with your furry friend too! I may getting older, but I still got it….
