How was your holiday season? So far mine has been so fun! There is so much to do in San Diego for dogs and mommy tries to do all of it!
It started with the Jingle Paws walk. We all dressed up festive for the 5k. Sometimes I think that we are our mommy’s entertainment! The things that they make us do! But we will do anything for treats!

The walk/ run was a fundraiser for the El Cajon Animal Shelter. Leash Your Fitness did the warm up and we had a booth there. It was really fun and festive and we even got to sit on Santa’s lap!

The following weekend was really fun! We had our 7th annual Leash Your Fitness holiday party. Daddy surprised mommy and brought me to it even though this is one of the few activities that the dogs are not invited. I made out because mommy’s gift that she picked had Honest Kitchen treats in it and I snagged the treats before anyone could steal them! I let mommy keep the cool plaque that she got!

A lot of the Leash Your Fitness family came to the party. I hardly recognized them all cleaned up and not in fitness clothes! They sure are a fun and goofy bunch!

Later on in the weekend was the Gaslamp Pet Parade! Mommy and I walked in it every year. This year my Aunt Lynn, who was visiting, got to join us. I don’t think she had ever seen anything like it! She had a really good time!

So many dogs in all sorts of costumes, floats and cars! We even saw a turtle on one of the floats! Can you see it?

Then we walked over to Seaport Village and watched the sunset. It sure was pretty and we were reminded once again just how lucky we are to live here!

After dinner, we got to hang out and watch the Parade of Boats. It was a beautiful evening for it and the boats did not disappoint!

It was such a fun weekend and we were not done yet! Next we took the gals for our annual walk/ run around the holiday lights. We even did a little caroling.

The street in Clairemont is not as long as Christmas Card Lane in Penasquitos but the houses looked really cool and we had a super fun time!

It started raining on us a little but we were in the festive spirit and didn’t care! It poured down rain the next day so our last hike of the year got moved to Mt Woodson so that we would not get totally muddy! It worked out perfect because we got to see the decorated tree on the way up the mountain!

It was a perfect day for a hike! The air was fresh and clean after the rain.

The next day was our last Sunday class of the year and we celebrated with our 7th annual Holiday class. Everyone worked out in their festive clothes!

Mommy had fun games for the girls to play complete with prizes. Diane and Mille won one and it was a good thing since they dressed very festive for class.

Everyone went home with a gift bag full of goodies including homemade doggy toothpaste!

What a weekend and we still have one week left! Naomi led our Saturday run class on Christmas eve. She turned it into a scavenger hunt through Balboa Park! The girls got to explore and learn all kinds of fun facts about the park!

As you can probably see, we try really hard to make fitness FUN for you AND your dog! Leash Your Fitness is all about doing fun activities together with your best friend.
We even had fun on Christmas Day! Daddy, mommy and I went to Julian and went for a little hike in the snow!

Daddy got his strength training in carrying GIGANTIC snow balls!

I thought he was going to throw it at mommy and then I remembered what they were up to! They do this every year!

While they are making their snow people, I get to play in the snow!
I love EVERYTHING water including SNOW! It is so much fun! We had a really fun morning!

Mommy loves the Christmas season. There are so many festive ways to have fun and of course she includes me in all of them. She was so happy that I was feeling better and having so much fun playing in the snow. You can watch the video HERE!
We hope that you had a fun holiday season as well! We look forward to a Happy and Healthy 2017 and we hope that you and your pup are a part of it!

Thanks for reading! Happy New Year!
