Kayaking with the dogs on a beautiful fall day

We couldn’t have asked for a nicer day to go kayaking, it was like August instead of October.  The sun was out, the bay was not crowded, the water was warm and we had a fun group come out with us.  The only bad part was mommy forgot my ball again!!  We kayaked over to Fiesta Island and NO BALL!!  I tried to steal another dogs ball but he wasn’t having it so I just swam and swam and swam! Ginger got a new boyfriend, Gunner.  She was chasing him all over the beach, I think Gunner was playing hard to get but he I think he really loves Ginger.  They were having so much fun that Gunner was falling asleep on the paddle back!   I don’t know if I can say the same for Sweet Pea.  She wasn’t looking all that happy but I shared my treats with her and that seemed to brighten up her day.
