Jack went on a ROAD TRIP to the Mountains!

Last weekend mommy and daddy took me to Convict Lake.  The last time I was there, I was 4 months old and I remember mommy taking me on a hike to the snow but I don’t think that I liked to swim back then sooooo I made up for it this time!! I swam in 6 lakes AND my first time in a hot spring.  Mommy said that it was ok because it wasn’t too hot.

I had fun rock diving into the lakes and the hot spring. I also got to watch Daddy catch a fish and I got to play with it.  It was all wiggly for a few moments and then I think mommy and daddy ate it for dinner that night and they didn’t even share with me!

We also got to hike to the snow again and I got to chase snowballs and catch them–that is so fun! I met 2 new dog  friends, Sawyer and Boone,  and they went hiking and swimming with us.  They were really lucky because they live there and get to do that all of the time with their cool parents.  I also made another friend, mommy said it was a deer and that I was not allowed to chase her.  Mommy was feeding her carrots and apples and said that she was very nice and gentle.  I just watched so that I wouldn’t scare her away and make mommy mad.

I sure did get tired up in the mountains, there was so much to do that I wore myself out but we had a great time and I can’t wait to go back! Mommy and I ran around the lake and she let me take a few swim breaks, it sure is pretty up there!
