Dog Yoga and a Full Moon Bonfire

How many things can Leash Your Fitness add to one night?  Well, how about Dog Yoga and a Full Moon, Potluck Bonfire complete with S’mores and Fireworks! (although a few of the pups weren’t crazy about the fireworks) What a FUN night we had PLUS we raised over $250. for Furry Foster which brings us to a total of $700. for the year SO FAR!!  What better way to raise money for a great group than doing Dog Yoga on the BEAUTIFUL Mission Bay with our best friends, our dogs!   Did I hear you say that your dog can NOT do yoga?  You may be suprised! We have had just about every breed and age of dog come to our Dog Yoga classes and MOST can hang in there with us!! The truth is, your dog reads your energy so if you stay calm, then MOST of the time your dog will follow your lead.  We always start each class with a walk with standing stretches along the way so your pup can go potty and burn off a little energy.  If your dog has been inside all day while you are at work, it never hurts to run him/her around a little bit before class and bringing his/ her favorite NON-SQUEAKY toy never hurts either.  (no treats during class please)

The Yoga Classes on the bay have been so beautiful and the full moon bonfire was the topping last month so we are going to do it again in July!! We hope that you can join us!  It is a WONDERFUL way to end the week and start the weekend! We are so lucky to live in San Diego, why not take advantage of our amazing weather & scenery!?
