Day 9 –Independence Pass / Continental Divide

We drove out of our way a long time today to see this amazing scenery at Independence Pass and Continental Divide and I got to play in the snow! It was so fun and so worth it! We even had a picnic at the lake. (of course I got to swim there!) Daddy and Bruce watched the tour and then we left and didn’t get to our hotel that night until 9:30 and mommy found this scary hotel and daddy said he was picking them from now on. Their dogs barked at me and scared me, then a big train went by and it was noisy and then there was this LOUD noise from the sky and this hard white stuff started falling and the sky was lighting up! It was crazy! Never saw that before and I don’t think daddy did either! We are going to Nebraska tomorrow……..
