Day 6 – Durango

Daddy biked and we hiked the Colorado Trail today and I got to go swimming along the hike.  Mommy went in too!  It was really cold!  We weren’t going to go very far but mommy kept wanting to go further to see the lookout so we ended up hiking for 4 hours.  But it was fun and mommy set her timer and got a nice picture of us from the viewpoint.  Daddy broke his bike on the trail today so he had to ship it home from Durango–it was really sad because there are so many really cool trails ahead!  I was really tired after that but they made me walk  around these stupid shops in Durango where everyone was trying to touch me!  I was getting really annoyed!    Then they wouldn’t let me in to any of the restaurants even though they were outside!  Daddy found one but mommy was too hot to eat so she and I went to Coldstone and she ate ice cream for dinner!  So far so good on her goal to eat ice cream every day!  We stayed at Aunt Shielas again tonight.  I love her, I even let her pet me!
