Day 2–Mammoth Caves into Arkansas

I got to chase the kitty up the tree one more time before we left the fancy hotel!

Then my mommy put me in the fence thing while her and Laura went to these BIG caves called Carlsbad Caverns.  She said it was too hot to leave me in the car.  They had fun at the caves–said they were the longest caves in the world!   When they came and got me –I was so happy to see them!  Then they took me for a walk to show me where the river comes out of the cave–they wouldn’t allow me to swim in it though!

We then got in the car and drove a couple of hours to a really cool place called the “Land between the Lakes” –there was water everywhere!  We stopped and went swimming in the largest lake in Kentucky–The Kentucky Lake.  We swam really far so Aunt Laura and mommy had to help me a little cause I got tired.

Then back in the car to drive through Tennessee, Missouri and then into Arkansas past Little Rock–534 miles today.  Aunt Laura found us a nice place to stay and everyone was happy!
