Capsizing the Kayak!

Not sure WHAT is going on but this has been the year of the capsized kayaks!! In 4 years of taking dogs out in kayaks,we have only ever had 1 minor capsize incident UNTIL this year!! We have had a crazy year of dogs jumping out of kayaks and people AND dogs falling out of the kayaks!!  This last group was no exception!  Crazy Miss Annecey likes to chase birds so she decided to take her entire family including her little brother, Napoleon with her on her adventure leaving everyone swimming after the birds!  It is a good thing that mommy and daddy are used to her shenanigans and have a good sense of humor!  Everyone was fine and  now they have a GREAT story to tell Monday morning at work!

Other than that, the August kayak event was uneventful!! It was a beautiful and very calm morning on the bay.  We got out before the big boats and jet skis! We even extended the paddle to include West Mission Bay so us dogs got to get out and play in the water twice!
