Beautiful Hike

Jack and I took the day off and went hiking!  It was a very foggy morning as we started early but it cleared up to be a beautiful day.  We began at the Blue Sky trail head in Poway and hiked to the top of Mt. Woodson. It was an 11 mile round-trip hike with a lot of climbing, picture taking, and swimming.  There was one rattle snake spotting and the dog was lucky as it was off leash and a puppy. I heard the people screaming from 1/2 a mile away! PLEASE do not wait until 11 a.m. or later to take your dogs hiking–it gets too hot and the snakes are out.  Please leave early so you are finished when it starts to get hot. I saw a Pit Bull and a Husky overheating on the trail as we were heading back and they were only starting up the mountain.   Enjoy the pictures and be careful out there…….
