We had a new group of dogs today for our Leash Your Fitness doggy Easter egg hunt & yoga class. The class was a fundraiser for Furry Foster so they brought some of their friends to Muttropolis for class. Mommy got there early and hid 90 eggs filled with doggy treats! They had 10 minutes to find them all. Helen & Tacquito found 17 of them! It figures the smallest dog got the most treats! They won a $50. gift certificate to Home Buddies. Mommy also put a smiley face on one of the eggs and Crystal & Jade found that so they also won a $50. gc to Home Buddies! After all of that excitement was over, mommy started the yoga class with a short walk with stretches along the way. The dogs started to settle down & listened very well! We returned to the mats for the rest of class. It was so surprising to see all of the dogs that were crazy excited at the beginning of class, lay quietly with their parent during class. We had a few that got a little excited but they calmed down and were so good. Us dogs even got a little doggy massage at the end of class and it felt so good!
After class everyone who donated an unused dog item to Furry Foster got a tote bag and Muttropolis had treats for everyone including the people! They also gave everyone 10% off of everything in the store!! It was awesome! The girls were shopping fools!
It was a really fun morning of treats and stretching and it was fun meeting some new faces. A special thanks to Muttropolis, Furry Foster, and Home Buddies! We hope to see everyone again in one of our other Leash Your Fitness classes or events! Enjoy the photos!
