Daddy made us get up at 4 a.m so we could take him to the airport so he could fly home to California and work. We are going to keep having fun without him –cousin Laura is going to join us now!
Our 2nd stop after dropping daddy off was at Uncle Jason and Aunt Trinity’s house for breakfast. I met my cousin Casey–she is a German Shepard. We hung out there for a few hours and then back on the road again.
We made a few stops so the gals could get snacks and stuff and then we went SWIMMING!! We went through West Virginia and Kentucky. We stopped at Daniel Boone State Park and swam in Cave Run Lake–it was REALLY BIG! We tried to do a little hike but couldn’t find the trail and then mommy almost stepped on a big snake so we just stuck to swimming.
After we left there, we drove a long way and mommy found another scary hotel and the gals were laughing really hard when they saw the room. I didn’t care because I had fun chasing the owners cat up into the tree –TWICE! This was our longest day yet–635 miles!
