Mommy found this really cool lake in Nebraska so we hung out there all morning! Mommy and I ran around the Ogallala lake, it was hot so she let me jump in to cool off a few times. The water was a little gross though. Daddy was fishing and painting. After we ran–we decided to go across the street to the other lake, Lake McConaughy, it as REALLY big! Mommy and I found this really cool sandy beach and went swimming. The water was PERFECT! We wanted to stay there all day but it got really windy so we left and drove and drove and drove (490 miles) until we got to Iowa and a really nice hotel (daddy picked it) We couldn’t find the Iowa sign and mommy was so sad………
