Only in California do a ton of people dress their dogs up in holiday attire and parade them through downtown with a police escort! This weekend was the Gaslamp Holiday Pet Parade and there was no shortage of costumes, both dog and human. Both men and women, young and old came out in the chilly weather to celebrate the holiday season. At one point, a on-looker in a 2nd floor apartment started chanting “who let the dogs out” and everyone chimed in including the dogs! It got a little “noisy” for a few moments but that only added to the festivities! Our buddies, Chopper the Biker Dog and Spike Taylor were the grand marshal’s and mommy and I hung out at the front with them for a little while. I was so happy that mommy didn’t make me wear my grumpy Santa suit because it really does make me grumpy! Enjoy the photos and enjoy the holidays with your pup! Don’t forget to get Fido a present for under the tree, preferably treats!!
