19 people, 24 dogs, 13 tents, yummy food, amazing hikes, fun games, cool prizes and even a doggy fashion show. Camping Leash Your Fitness style. What an amazing time we had in the local Laguna Mountains. The weather was PERFECT for hiking for us dogs. After our Saturday hike, Arden Moore led us though doggy trivia, musical hula hoops and the water game. Then we gave more prizes for the best dog trick. (my tricks didn’t count even though I was really performing!) We even had a doggy fashion show so the dogs could show off all of their cool jackets and sweaters. ( I was naked with my new camp cut all weekend) The gourmet food was prepared to perfection by Dave Campbell, wouldn’t be a camp trip without him! Even though he didn’t cook anything for us dogs–Miss Cathy brought us homemade dog treats that were really yummy. Us dogs got muddy, went swimming and hiking and played until we could not play anymore! It was sad to come home –especially the bath part! Enjoy the pictures. (click on image to enlarge)
