Who needs a coach?

This past weekend, mommy attended a 3.5 day mentorship program. Two of the guys that spoke were Drew Brees and Dave Beck–they are both quarterbacks.  They spoke of the importance on people needing coaching for areas in their lives that they are not pushing themselves far enough.   Whether it be life coaching to get better balance, fitness coaching to get you past  your plateau or to just get you started on leading a healthier life or a spiritual coaching  to teach you how to meditate.  ALL of the successful people that I know have coaches.  Nobody is good in all areas in their lives.  What kind of coach do you need?  Where are you not excelling?  Listed below are a few things that can help you lead a healthier life both physically, mentally and financially:

1/ Say positive affirmations EVERY DAY! Write them down on a piece of paper and put them where you can see them to remind yourself to stay positive and focus on what you WANT not what you don’t want.

2/ Write down your goals.  What are your weekly, monthly and yearly goals?   Where do you want to be in 5 years–WRITE them down!  Just thinking them is not enough.

3/ Exercise at least 30 minutes 5 days a week.  Moving and challenging your body releases endorphins to make you feel better.  Sitting at a desk or on a couch every day does nasty things to your body–you have to move it the way it was created to move!

4/ You are what you eat!  Drink soda, eat candy and burgers and your body will feel like crap!  Fill it with healthy fruit, vegetables and lean meats and lots of water and you will feel amazingly better! Keep a food journal–that way you can keep track of what you are putting in your belly.

5/ Pay yourself FIRST!  Put a little money away from each paycheck.  Even if it is $10. a week. It adds up and if you get it deducted pre-tax, you will never even miss it!

So we ask you this, where do you need that little kick in the butt?  NOBODY is going to push themselves as hard as someone else will push you and hold you accountable.  Mommy makes me sit and stay before I even eat my dinner!  Most of the time she won’t even give me a treat unless I do a trick!  But it makes me think and makes me a smarter and more well behaved dog and you better believe that I wouldn’t do that stuff without her making me!  Take action today! Leash Your Fitness is going to be starting a Weight Loss Competition and we will be your DAILY coach to keep you on track and keep you positive. Let us know if we can help you reach your goals.  It is so much fun to watch the transformations!
