It is always so hard to leave our awesome campsites especially when we are camped near super cool people but it was time to move on from Prescott and start swimming again! We stopped and fueled up and then off to Bartlett we went. Man! We couldn’t believe the difference in the water levels. What was part of the lake last year, we camped on! We got a spot RIGHT on the water!

It was super cool! And perfect for me to play in the water and look for fish!

I loved rolling in the sand too…..

The first day there we SUPd to the end of the lake. It was so perfect. Mommy couldn’t believe she lucked out and found the only spot that had any cell service and we just happened to be swimming there!

There was nobody around, this part of the lake is pretty low so none of the big, fast boats come down. Just the quiet fishing people so it was so nice!

We spent most of the day on the water enjoying the scenery. The lake is so low that the fish can’t even go to their “homes”.

The next day, we had an EPIC day! We paddled 7 miles up to the dam. It was crazy windy when we got close but mommy didn’t give up. We had to take a break in a little rock cove so we didn’t get blown away. Check out this short video…

We made it to the dam and to the end of the lake so now we have paddled the entire lake!

On the way back, we stopped to swim on a little island and met a famous fisherman, Gary Senft. He was filming his show and stopped to say hi to us.

We then sailed home. It was so fun. Mommy even sat on the board for a little while and let the wind take us. We stopped a lot to swim and “SUPdive”

I was worn out from all of that action!

It was a really long paddle and we were out for a long time! We got back to camp and thought that somebody stole our chair because it wasn’t in front of Spirt but then we spotted it down the beach! The wind took it, our towel and my bed on a journey! Glad it didn’t blow into the lake!

We watched the sunset with our new neighbor. He insisted on watching the news non-stop with his Direct TV so mommy asked if he could please turn it down. Who wants to listen to the news when you are relaxing at the lake?

The next day was our last day on our adventure and at the lake so we decided to swim as much as we could. We took a 5 mile paddle and stopped and swam and swam and swam! It was so fun.

It was such a hot few days that we decided that we had enough sun so headed back to camp. It was 99 degrees in Spirit! We hung out at camp and mommy read and I slept in the sand and got really dirty!

Then we decided that we were hot again, so we took the SUP out in the middle of the lake and we swam together. It was so much fun! Then I swam back to shore while mommy paddled..

We ended the adventure with a sunset paddle. We floated in the lake thinking about all of the fun that we had the last 11 days and how grateful that we are that we were able to come. It has been a wonderful time and we will always cherish it.

Thanks for joining in on our adventure. We hope that you had as much fun reading it as we did living it! And we hope that it inspires you to go out and do something fun with your pup!
Until next time….
