Cool people and places

Have you missed me the last couple of weeks?  I have been busy on one adventure after another! Mommy always finds something cool for us to do or someone cool for us to meet!

You won’t find many people that are more interesting than Terri Steuben. Mommy had her come over to “talk” to me a few weeks ago.  Terri could hear me because she is an animal communicator!  She told mommy a few things that I have been wanting to tell her.  One thing that I told her is that she is putting too much water in my Honest Kitchen food, I like it a bit thicker!  She listened and it is much better now!  I told her a bunch more stuff too!

Mommy and I have been doing a little hiking too!  We have been wanting to go explore Black Canyon in Ramona. It turned into an adventure because mommy read the directions wrong.  We didn’t know where we were!  It was only supposed to be a 1 mile hike, it turned into a 5 mile hike.  The best part was the pretty flowers that we saw while we were lost and hiking through the brush!   You always have to look at the bright side, right?

We finally figured out the right way to go and found a cool place for me to swim!  I have to say that it was not my favorite hike but any place that I get to swim is ok by me!

The next hike we did was MUCH better! It was so much fun that we are going to take our group there this weekend!  Do you want to come with us?   It is called Eagle Rock and can you guess why?

It was a really cool hike that our friend, Patrice, took us on.  She lives near there in Warner Springs and she knows all of the cool trails.  It was 7 miles long but it was really a great hike!  Not too steep and there was even a stream for me to swim in to cool off.  I liked the rolling hills, trees, mountain views and the rock was pretty cool too!

While we were in the neighborhood, mommy took me to my favorite place! Lake Henshaw allows dogs to swim in it!  The 2 leggers aren’t allowed but us 4 leggers are!  They even have a dock for me to jump off of! I love going there, we are usually the only ones there with a few fishermen.   It is really fun!

As you can see, I have been busy with a lot of different kinds of adventures over the last few weeks. Mommy sure does keep me busy.  We ended the week with a SUP at the bay with our friend Kelli who was visiting from New York.  We showed her the Seals that hang out at Mission Bay. She was excited to be out in the warm weather and on the water.

I was happy that there weren’t a ton of jelly fish like last time that we were there. I hope that they left San Diego for good because they freak mommy out.  She doesn’t want me to get stung by one.
