4th Annual Doggy Easter Egg Hunt

Today my friends got to hunt for treat filled Easter Eggs that mommy hid for them.  She made them find one, run back to their mat and put it in their bag and then continue searching.  It was the warm up for our Sunday Leash Your Fitness class and the people were running around like crazy! We had a very competitive group today and 23 dogs! We had a 3 way tie of 6 eggs BUT one had the smiley face on it so she won the GRAND prize of a one hour massage with Receive Wellness –SCORE!!  They got to play other games as well, the winner of the puppy pushups was Einstein –go figure, show off!! He did 16 puppy pushups in 1 minute!  We also played the “leash pull water” game and the “leave it” game–which was tough cause we had to stare at Aunt Cathy’s homemade doggy birthday cake until we got the “ok” to eat it.  It was TORTURE but worth it cause it was so yummy! Everyone got a great workout, many left with prizes and all left with treats!  It was a fun way to begin the day.  We hope everyone had a Happy Easter! (mine would have been better if I would have got to chase the Easter BUNNY!!) 🙂
