Testimonial: 40 pounds GONE!

Testimonial: 40 pounds GONE!

I am now 40 lbs down since I started with Leash Your Fitness  in January 2013.  For the first time in my life I have stopped counting calories and am amazed to still lose weight.  I have such good healthy eating habits now, which I have learned from the numerous LYF fitness challenges!  My total cholesterol has even dropped by 13 points.  Dawn, Naomi and Kelly have all been such great teachers and motivators going above and beyond with extra nutrition or exercise tips throughout the challenge.  The fitness challenges are always fun and really great motivation with the accountability […]

Idyllwild Adventure

Idyllwild Adventure

WoW!!  We had so much fun in Idyllwild, I am so lucky that mommy and daddy take me on so many fun adventures!  This was a scouting trip for our Leash Your Fitness Camping trip so we were “working!” (lucky for me that mommy’s work is FUN!)  We stayed in the cutest cabin, it was one of the best cabins that we have ever stayed in! The Labrador Pact by Matt Haig Duty Over All “Labradors must devote every aspect of their lives to protecting their masters if we are to gain the Eternal Reward. If one Labrador fails in their task, the whole mission is placed in jeopardy. Fewer Families now have dogs to protect them, and fewer still have Labradors. This means our influence over human society could soon begin to wane. In order to prevent this dreadful situation, every single Labrador, whether within a Family or not, must have their master’s’ best interests at heart. If we surrender to our instincts and neglect […]

Dogs with fear aggression welcome! Chami’s Story…

Dogs with fear aggression welcome! Chami's Story...

Chami has generalized fear aggression.  There are only a few public places she can go safely, and Leash Your Fitness classes are one of them.  We have tried various other classes in the past with her, but the other dogs or people in some of those classes scared her more than the actual activity was benefiting her.  When we did our first Leash Your Fitness bootcamp class with Dawn, I knew we had found a great program.  The key to Chami’s success:  There are only positive interactions encouraged during training.    Dawn, Kelly, and Naomi do not force dogs to finish the […]

What People Are Saying

I would like to also thank you for starting this new fitness idea where we can workout with our dogs. I have tried other avenues but never really enjoyed myself. I find working out fun now and think I have found something I’ll stick with. — Crystal N.
