Product Review: Aurorae

Product Review: Aurorae

Recently I was contacted by  Aurorae to see if I was interested in trying some of their products.  I had never heard of this company and once I looked at their website, I was super excited! Even though Leash Your Fitness is not a yoga company, we do teach Dog Yoga and we do use just about everything that Aurorae sells. What I loved most about the company was the founder’s story.  He was the same age as  I am now, 48, when his world got flipped upside down with a diagnosis of cancer.  He decided to change his lifestyle and […]

Lake Lewiston

Lake Lewiston

We left the Mt Shasta area on Monday morning and headed south.  With a full tank of water and empty tanks we could camp anywhere we wanted so let the adventure begin!   We passed through the Whiskeytown area and headed to Lake Lewiston.  Mommy was determined to camp on a lake somewhere and there is no stopping her when her mind is made up and of course I wouldn’t mind camping on a lake!   You are not allowed to disperse camp at Whiskeytown and Trinity Lake was too low so we opted for Lake Lewiston. Have you been following our journey that we were on last week?  We started in Whiskeytown and then we headed to Castle Lake.  After 4 days of non stop activity, mommy decided that Sunday would be our rest day.  I was ready for a rest day. I am 11 ½ and I try my best to keep up but I am tired!  Lucky for us, we camped along the road in a pull off that was very quiet with a beautiful view!     Mommy got her chair out and finished her book and I slept.  It was such a […]

Castle Lake & Lake Siskiyou

Castle Lake & Lake Siskiyou

We woke up on Friday at Brandy Creek Campground in Whiskeytown not sure where to go.  We had two options, Lake Lewiston or Castle Lake,  but mommy wanted to go into Redding to look for a hat to paddle in so we opted for heading north.    Mommy does not do well in traffic and congested areas so we didn’t really shop. Instead we headed north.  First stop was the Visitor Center in Shasta City so we could see where we were going.  The nice lady gave us a map and told us where we could camp for free.  Anywhere along […]
